Where teaching performance does not meet expectations as determined by Line Manager lesson observations, support is provided.  Teachers are expected to fully engage with lesson planning, mentoring and other support provided.  Where there is persistent underperformance, a formal performance improvement plan will be put in place.  Campus Boards of Directors are responsible for informing the the HR Department when a formal performance improvement plan is put in place for a teacher.

Teachers are required to follow Teacher the Teacher Code of Conduct and to execute teaching and other responsibilities in line with Teacher Role Profiles.

Teacher Observations are the main tool used for evaluating the quality of teaching and learning our team are delivering in our classrooms.

Where observations indicate teachers are not meeting expectations, Line Managers are responsible for communicating in a timely way to Campus Boards of Directors and the Primary ESL Coordinator. This is to ensure timely support can be put in place. Providing support outlines the kinds of support available to Primary ESL Standard teachers.
