Course details

Each ESL subject contains a list of courses corresponding to different levels of competence.

Primary courses:

• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 1 (Primary ESL Stage 1)
• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 2 (Primary ESL Stage 2)
• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 3 (Primary ESL Stage 3)
• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 4 (Primary ESL Stage 4)
• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 5 (Primary ESL Stage 5)
• Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 6 (Primary ESL Stage 6)

Secondary  courses:

• Tiếng Anh Trung học Stage 7 (Secondary ESL Stage 7)
• Tiếng Anh Trung học Stage 8 (Secondary ESL Stage 8)
• Tiếng Anh Trung học Stage 9 (Secondary ESL Stage 9)
• Tiếng Anh Trung học Stage 10 (Secondary ESL Stage 10)
• Tiếng Anh Trung học Stage 11 (Secondary ESL Stage 11)

On the display of [ESLC] Tiếng Anh Tiểu học or [ESLD] Tiếng Anh Trung học, find “Courses in this subject” and then select the relevant course, for example “Tiếng Anh Tiểu học Stage 1”.

In each course, the following contents will be found: Course description, Content knowledge, Scheme of work, Standards and Assessments.

1. Course Description

This part presents the details on the course outcome, course approaches, and the course structure.

2. Content knowledge

This part exhibits a list of language focuses (Vocabulary, Use of English, and Pronunciation (if any)) in each unit of the course. No matter what resources teachers may exploit in teaching delivery, the defined content knowledge must be fully covered.

3. Scheme of work

This part presents the list of units and lessons accompanied by a timeline. Please be noted that the timeline is tentative and subject to change due to operational factors during the school year.

To read the unit details, click on the Unit title. Then the unit description (including main content, skill development focus, and main activities) will be shown, together with recommended resources for the unit and the scheme of work for lesson delivery.
