Assessments

There are two types of assessments displayed in this part:

• Major assessments include two End-of-term assessments for Semester 1 and Semester 2. They are to assess students’ achievement of the course standards.
• Minor assessments include Progress checks after blocks of teaching and learning. They are to assess students’ achievement of the unit outcomes.

After selecting a course, you can see the Assessments as the last section of the course content display.

The description of these assessments acts as a blueprint for the assessment design. The assessment designers will be aware of what components to be included, what knowledge content and skills to be assessed and what the administration factors to be considered.
