Subject description

This section clarifies the key features of the curriculum and provides a description of the course model.

How to access this information is described below.

Step 1: Log in mapping.vinschool.edu.vn with Vinschool’s Google account

Step 2: In Curriculum frameworks, select Subjects

Step 3: Find Domain “Ngôn ngữ”, scroll down and select [ESLD] Tiếng Anh Tiểu Học for Primary English or [ESLD] Tiếng Anh Trung học for Secondary English.

Step 4: On the display of [ESLC] Tiếng Anh Tiểu Học or [ESLD] Tiếng Anh Trung Học, the section Description is on the top left.

The key features of the curriculum are described in the first part (1. Key features) of the Description.

1.2. Course model

Standard ESL course model suggests a planning sequence for the curriculum with detailed allocation of ESL lessons, lists of topics and explanation of allocation of periods for each unit. It also offers insights into how ESL course aims and  teaching & learning approaches are evidenced in the course model design.

The course model plus explanations are shown in the second part (2. Course model) of the Description.
