WORKING SCHEDULE AND TEACHING HOURS

Typical working hours for teachers are 7.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, but these may be adjusted as required by school management. However, the number of total work hours shall remain the same. Depending on level of experience and professional level, normally teachers are expected to perform up to 20 hours of teaching per week.

Employees shall use their fingerprints for timekeeping at the control gate when entering and exiting the working area. This is to be done at the start and end of each workday.

The ultimate purpose of this policy is to assure the teaching performance and the safety and security of students. The employer is responsible to account for employees’ whereabouts during emergencies or other times of need so that they may be relied upon to provide assistance for students when necessary

SCHOOL CALENDAR
Generally, the teacher’s academic calendar runs from early August to early June. Each year, the School’s administration sets their own specific school calendar, requiring teachers to observe the reporting date, school holidays, the last day of classes and final work date before summer holiday, and all other related days. A published school calendar serves as a guide each year and is subject to change according to the school’s needs. Teachers will be notified promptly if any such changes are necessary.
DRESSCODE

Teachers serve as role models for the students and as representatives of Vinschool. Consistent with these roles, all teachers, education experts shall follow dress code policy to present a professional image during working hours, school events, student’s activities and field trips. Clothing must be neat, clean, in good repair, and appropriate for on-the-job appearances

CHILDREN SAFETY

Vinschool Education System aims to create a safe, positive environment for its students. Vinschool acknowledges that, in its efforts, it is not immune from child abuse. Child abuse is a violation of a child’s rights and is an obstacle to a child’s education and healthy development. Therefore, Vinschool has a moral and legal responsibility to all our students to prevent and deal with harm, intentional or not, and whether instances occur within, or outside of the physical school grounds.

The Vinschool Child Safeguarding Policy covers Child protection, safe touch, safety and anti-bullying.

COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

The purpose of the Communication Guidelines and protocols is to set a minimum standard for responsive verbal, written, and digital communication tools.

These Communication Guidelines are intended to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy in the exchange of information between Human Resources and Expat Employees of Vinschool. They outline the channels of communication and tools intended for use in various situations depending on the need and purpose of the communication and to control the flow of information.

The implementation of these channels aims to minimize miscommunication or receiving different answers from different departments within the organization.

FORCE MAJEURE

In cases of Force Majeure, whereby either Employer or Employee are unable to perform contract obligations due to events beyond their control, current Vietnam laws and Vinschool regulations shall be applied.
