IDENTIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES' NEEDS FOR COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT
Prior to the implementation of employee/teacher coaching and development, identification of their needs for coaching and development is crucial, ensuring effective coaching, capability gap filling for individuals and solving of system-wide problems. Basis for identifying employees/teachers’ needs for coaching and development:
Based on assessment results, the Leaders shall compare employees’/teachers’ current competencies and work efficiency against the standards and work requirements to address the gap between their current levels and the expectations, thus drawing up a suitable coaching roadmap. Information on training and coaching needs will be shown in employees’/teachers’ IDPs or needs analyses upon the formulation of schools’/system’s coaching plans.
